As an affiliate of the Segal Design Institute, Christi Zuber advises on integration projects for the MMM program.
Christi is a nurse with a passion for design. She is the director of the Innovation Consultancy at Kaiser Permanente, a group she began to build in 2003 when they internalized IDEO's human centered design approach to innovation. Zuber and her team have created solutions to impact care on the front lines of healthcare. The word is out, and several print pieces have featured her work including The Harvard Business Review (Sept 2010). She has jumped at the chance to share her teams solutions, innovation approach and learnings at a host of conferences in the US and abroad.
In her "past life" she helped develop a Children's Hospital, managed domestic and international projects at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, opened an all-volunteer Spina Bifida clinic, and practiced as a home health nurse. Learn more in her published work in the International Journal of Design, Journal of Hospital Medicine, and The Permanente Journal.
