Mingxian Wang is a Ph.D student in Mechanical Engineering at Northwestern. Her research interests lie at the intersection of engineering, marketing, and social science, with emphasis on integrating the techniques in consumer choice modeling, social network analysis, and data analytics to support decision making in product design. 

Her current research aims to develop a network-based methodology for predicting consumer preference and acceptance of green tech products including hybrid electric vehicles and smart appliances.
