Why did you choose MMM?

In consulting, I found myself on a project focused on building customer journeys, identifying pain points, and building solutions based on those insights. This experience gave me a glimpse into the design thinking framework and enhanced my interest in solving problems with this truly human-centric mindset. As I began looking at business schools, I knew a program with a focus on design thinking was important to me, so when I found out about the MMM program I was ecstatic – it was a perfect fit for the skills I was looking to gain during my MBA!

What has been your favorite Kellogg/MMM memory?

I think my favorite MMM memory was during the summer when we did a MMM scavenger hunt – it was a really awesome bonding experience for my team and also helped emerge us more into the bigger picture at Northwestern, outside the walls of the Jacob’s Center and the Ford Design Studio.

What is your favorite gadget/product/service and why?

Square is one of my favorite products/services because I think it democratizes the ability to run a business and collect money from customers in the way they now prefer to pay (credit cards) and also creates a more seamless, trusted, and efficient customer experience.

I wish I knew how to…

Play guitar! I LOVE listening to people play and want to be able to create that kind of beauty myself.

If you could have one superpower, it would be...

The ability to fly. The closest I’ve been to flying was when I went skydiving in Australia – it was one of the most awe-inspiring, beautiful, and freeing things I’ve ever done!
