About

Steve Carr has been involved in research and engineering related to polymeric materials for over 52 years and has been on the Department of Materials Sciences and Engineering faculty since 1969. He consults for industry on matters dealing with materials processing, design, selection, and performance.

He has published over 120 papers and portions of four books; he holds one patent.

Steve is the co-instructor, with Walter Herbst, for DSGN 407, Making Things.
