Students in the Design Thinking and Communication course, taught by professors Walter Herbst and Jeanne Herrick, worked on a project for client Kids In Danger centered around redesigning IKEA furniture to make it tip-proof without sacrificing the piece's aesthetic value or capability to be flat-shipped. The innovative solutions they came up with are described in this Fast Company article.
