Mert Iseri and Yuri Malina, the co-founders of SwipeSense, were named to Crain's "Twenty in their 20s" list.  The list recognizes young local professionals making significant contributions in a range of industries, including government, finance, and technology.

SwipeSense, a portable, trackable hand sanitizing system for hospital staff, started as a Design for America project in the summer of 2009.  Malina and Iseri continued to develop the concept during the remainder of their time as students and after graduation.  The company was recently recognized as one of the top 3 start-ups in the Wall Street Journal's Start-up of the Year competition.

Iseri and Malina currently act as Segal affiliates and members of the Design for America advisory board.
